-WORK PERMIT-

The UK post-study work visa allows international students to stay back in the UK to search for work for a period of 2 years after completing their graduate studies. Also, students pursuing Ph.D. are allowed to stay up to 12 months after completing their degree. This rule of staying in the UK after graduation will again makes the UK a topmost choice for international students. Also, all International students are eligible for a part time job during their Courses of studies. Thus, UK also provides the opportunity for job, similar to the Universities in the other countries. The maximum permissible work limit for every week is around 20 hours. -VISA REQUIREMENTS-

There is a visa fees of £348. A student requires to show enough funds available to support their education while studying within UK. The Home Office (UKVI) has set the quantity of maintenance funds you would need to have available. Below are the mandates that you must show that you have:

  • Living cost of  £1,015 per month, if you are studying outside London or anywhere else within UK for the majority of your study (more than 50% of your study time) or
  • Living Cost of £1,265 per month, if you are studying in London for the majority of your study (more than 50% if your study time)

It is mandatory for students to show the living costs for up to a maximum of 9 months. The start and end dates on CAS is calculated, the number of months’ student needs to provide evidence for.
